So you haven't read The Exterminators?well, what's stopping you?
i understand. i ain't made of money, either, and i totally realize that $3-4 bucks for 15 minutes of entertainment is a shitty deal, especially stacked up against DVDs and CDs.
i know what you're thinking.
"I can't believe Tony is condoning piracy right on his front page!"
Would i like the 1,000+ people who have downloaded the file to have bought the books instead? Sure! But i recognize that a lot of folks will do without if they can't get it for free. I am one of those people.
As a creator, i'd rather people torrent the shit than to not read it at all. At least if they get it and like it, maybe they'll talk about it to others and maybe even break down and buy the tpb.
Spread the word, guys.
i just want people to read these fucking books.

I bought Exterminators #6 yesterday because I love your art, Tony, but I wish you would stick with a book for a while. I see the ads for issues 7 and 8 and knowing that you won't soley be doing the art for both books makes me not want to buy them.
I do hope you are returning to the Exterminators.
I am still upset that you left Walking Dead because Adlard's art doesn't do it as well for me. I absolutely loved that book before you left. I still read it from time to time because I like Kirkman's writing, but I wish you still drew it.
I was totally going to start buying Fear Agent, then I hear you aren't going to be sole artist on it either.
As long as you commit to a book completely I will continue to buy it.
I met you at the Nashville Comic and Horror Show and you were showing me some of the art for this book, and wow, what a great book it has been. When it comes out, its the first one I read, the art has been the best. I haven't followed artists since the late 90's, but I'll admit, anything you do, I have to get it...loved Fear Agent as well. Keep up the great work, it too cool for school.
Having taken on even just pencilling and inking The Exterminators has proven to be a challenge to say the least. Add in the time i was concurrently working on Fear Agent and it's doubly difficult. That's why Fear Agent was meant to have rotating artists from the outset. Holding hard and fast to a true monthly grind was a task I truly underestimated. A little slip here and there, and next thing you know, you're behind the eightball in a big way. To help keep the publishing schedule, DC has lined up a couple of fill-ins, but I am and will always be the primary artist on The Exterminators.
Damn you Tony, I clicked the link read the 5 issues there and inmediately went to the comic shop to buy The Exterminators #6. Great stuff, now I'm hooked.
You're a crazy man to post a link to the torrent, but it worked... I'm purchasing the comics tomorrow after I get my check from work.
Wow, so let me say that is pretty cool of you, but I wont be downloading them not because I think its wrong I just hate to read comics on my computer. I recently downloaded the complete run of Miracleman and I think it just sucks to not hold the book.
I haven't read Exterminators yet. It's not because I don't hear good things about it. I have just given up on the monthly thing, but I have waiting for a trade to come out since I read a review of issue 2. August get here already. It's a sick cycle really. Here I am someone that really wants to buy your work, but since I don't support you monthly the numbers aren't there and I may be helping get the book canceled. Sorry. But issues are so hard to care for and trades come out like special edition dvds, I think the monthly guy gets cheated in some way.
On another note I just finished Fear Agent. I loved it. The writing was a little dense sometimes getting from point A to point B a little too quickly for my taste but it was way cool. I really dug the retro feel. Great job.
you rawk.
I just bought and read the Fear Agent tpb and was disappointed to see that there was no extra features; sketches, sketches, and more sketches. What's up with that?
We load the monthlies with whatever sketches and extras we have to show, and the tpbs are just the story-- no extras or sketches, no covers, etc, to add incentive to picking up the monthlies. If it was all in the tpb, what would be the point of even publishing the singles?
Caught an article in Wizard about your book, and had to check it out. I hopped online searching for a torrent only to find the artist himself handing it out like candy. Since I live about 45 miles from a comic dealer, I can't always get my mitts on a new book, specially the lesser knowns. I just downloaded the first 5 and I have to say I'm more than impressed to see something this refreshing and different. I love the artwork and I'll be making a trip to the shop to find the back issues and check your other work. I'm gonna spread a little love for the Exterminators in the Montgomery AL area. Thanks for puttin some pride in your work, it shows.
I've got a monthly subscription, but i missed issue #1. Now I got it. Hang in there man.
MAY 31st ! DUDE IT'S JULY AFTER THE SDCC CON, ANYWAY THANX 4 THE TRADES AND THE AUTOGRAPH I HAD NO IDEA YOU WERE GOING TO GIVE ME THOSE 4 TRADES AND SIGN THEM, IF DON'T REMEMBER ME I WAS ONE OF THE LAST TO COME UP TO YOU GUYZ RAVING ABOUT THE WALKING DEAD BOOK AND SAYING THAT "EVERYONE SAYS IF YOU WANT TO READ A GOOD BOOK READ WALKING DEAD"
I WILL TRY TO GET AROUND TO READING THEM AS SOON AS I READ THE STACK OF TRADES AND MONTHLIES AS SOON AS I CAN
THANX AGAIN
I have the first 8 issues.. Awesome stuff. The coloring could use some work though.. but that's just me being nitpicky. Storywise, it is nothing like I've read before.
I've put this on my monthly pull list. I'm hooked. Keep up the great work. I can't wait to see what happens next.
